Should I list my trade mark on the Amazon Brand Registry?

Updated: Dec 8, 2022

Amazon Brand Registry helps brand owners to protect their registered trade marks on Amazon from counterfeit products and trade mark infringements.

The registry enables registered trade mark owners to search for potentially counterfeit goods on the Amazon website by trade mark or image searches.

The registry is only available to brands with a registered trade mark incorporating a word (whether alone or in combination with other images) in the United States, Australia, Canada, Mexico, India, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom or the European Union.

In order to register, brand owners will need to provide Amazon with details of their registered trade marks and the goods covered by the registration, the countries where the goods are manufactured and distributed and images of the logo, products and packaging.

Even if you don't have an Amazon Brand Registry account, you can still report infringements to Amazon.
